Credit policy

In-browser utilities

1 credit

JSON formatting, text metrics, QR generation, local image preview, and browser-side PDF actions.

Sign-in is required so BoringKit can meter the accepted local run fairly, but BoringKit does not upload or store the input.

Small server checks

0 credits while public metadata checks remain unmetered

Guarded URL metadata checks, social preview diagnostics, and small report generation.

Validation failures, blocked unsafe URLs, and unsupported input errors cost 0 credits.

Document worker jobs

5 + file size in MB

A 6 MB Word-to-PDF conversion costs about 11 credits.

Temporary input expires in 1 hour and output expires in 24 hours by default. Workspace history visibility depends on your plan.

Video/audio worker jobs

10 + 2 credits per MB

A 40 MB video compression costs about 90 credits before batch multipliers.

For files near 100 MB or large batches, Plus or higher is recommended for stability.

AI enhancement

8 credits + input size tier

AI actions are available on Pro, Business, and Custom for eligible tools.

Provider failures are refunded and analytics events never include private user text.

Credit calculator

Estimate a run before you upgrade.

This uses the public credit policy examples. The accepted run screen or API response remains the final source of truth for a specific tool, file, batch, or AI action.

Document worker

Office/PDF/document conversion and retained worker output.

11 credits

In-browser tools use 1 credit per accepted run, stay local, and do not create workspace job rows by default. Worker, API, batch, and AI accepted runs are metered before processing starts.

Plan comparison

Choose by file size, history, API, and AI access.

Billing and delivery details

BoringKit is digital software and SaaS providing productivity utilities, account features, usage credits, API access, file limits, history, and related digital functionality. Free is for basic signed-in access. Plus starts at 1 USD, then 9 USD per month. Pro is 19 USD per month. Business is 49 USD per month. Custom is handled by contact or inquiry and is not self-serve unless a custom quote is issued.

Self-serve checkout is available through the in-page BoringKit payment flow. International payment support is in progress. Credits and paid features activate after successful verified payment. Cancellation stops future renewals. Billing issues are handled through BoringKit support review.

The private workspace is account-scoped and stores job rows, credit entries, API-key metadata, plan state, and output expiry details for signed-in recovery. It is not public file hosting or permanent storage.

Refund and credit-adjustment requests are reviewed under the dedicated BoringKit refund policy. In-browser tools use 1 credit per accepted run and do not create workspace job rows by default.
